About Sokol Stickney
Sokol Stickney is Non-Profit, member-run fitness organization that offers gymnastic, volleyball, aerobics and other programs.
Sokol is a Czech organization that was brought to America in 1865. It has since thrived throughout the whole nation and especially in Chicago. The American Sokol Organization lives by the motto "Sound Mind in a Sound Body", and aims to shape its members into politically, physically and mentally sound individuals. Our organization is based largely off of volunteerism and donations, so please help if you are able! We host multiple fundraisers throughout the year to support our programs including tailgates, pancake breakfasts and spaghetti dinners. We also offer our hall for private rental for birthday parties, holiday parties, showers and anything else you need a space for.
